Further fresh snow overnight meant that CairnGorm had some fantastic surface conditions, but sadly the weather overhead and some of the queues left much to be desired.
The Traverse and 105 had great snow. That little section off the left hand side of the 105 has some drifts that are around 6-8ft high which caught a lot of people out. The White Lady is much better, and is now also do-able down on the right hand side by the burn. The M1 was slightly better, with an improved cover but still mostly hardpacked.
The Carpark Runs are now all easily slide-able, with some pisted. Look out for a good kicker near the top of the Shieling Platter Lift. You can ski/board over to the M1 easily now as part of the burn running down the Gunbarrel has filled in. Off piste was wind scoured though there has been some new snow which improved things. The Daylodge Run is full width and pisted.
