Around 5 or 6 inches of fresh snow fell yesterday, with a further 6 to 8 inches overnight. There's a healthy cover of fresh snow, but the visibility left much to be desired.
In the Ptarmigan Bowl there is some groomed powder snow, with a much improved width. Also improved with the snow is the Ciste Fairway, though is still scraped on the steeper pitches.
The link between the Ptarmigan Station and Traverse is now complete again, as is the 105, with no walking involved on a wide width of fresh snow. The Cas has a good width, with the best snow off-piste where it's lighter and powdery. The Cas T-Bar is loading above the Gunbarrel, and you can now slide to mid-station, or to the caprark using the Home Road. The Home Road is gritty and rocky in places though, so use the rockhoppers.
