Excellent spring snowsports availiable, with almost all of the runs complete with a good cover of snow which is firm at first, and softens throughout the day.
While there has been some snow loss on the lower slopes mid-week, higher up we are in a better position as the quick thaw/freeze cycle consolidated last weekends snow, setting things up nicely for late season snowsports. There is still top-to-bottom riding, with the best routes down via the Carpark runs, or the Fiacaill Ridge. The M2/Daylodge route requires a short walk at the end.
There is excellent snow on the upper and middle mountain. For experts, the Ciste Gully, East and West Walls, Ryvoan, Aonach Bowl, M1 and White Lady all offer an excellent cover of good snow. For beginners, the Ptarmigan Bowl and areas on the lower slopes give good learning conditions.
